🧰We're a small crew of tinkerers, makers and reformed hoarders-of-hardware who got tired of buying a third pack of something we already owned three of. SortyPorty started as a weekend fix for our own overflowing toolboxes and grew into the organizer we always wished existed.

Your workshop stays yours
SortyPorty was built on one non-negotiable rule: what's in your bins is nobody's business but yours. This policy explains, in plain language, why there is almost nothing to explain — the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, anywhere, ever. Everything you photograph, label and organize stays locally on the device in your hand.
Information We Collect
SortyPorty collects none. We don't ask for your name, email, location or any personal identifier, and the app contains no sign-up or login flow to collect it through in the first place.
How We Use Information
Since nothing is collected, nothing is used. We do not analyze your habits, build a profile of your workshop, or sell, rent or share any information to anyone, for any reason.
Data Storage
Every photo, part name, container hierarchy and low-stock threshold you create is stored locally in the app's storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server or synced to a cloud, because SortyPorty doesn't operate one.
Third-Party Services
SortyPorty contains no third-party analytics kits, advertising networks or tracking scripts of any kind. No outside company receives data from this app because no data leaves the app.
Data Security
Because your inventory never travels over a network, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Its safety is the same as your device's own lock screen and operating system protections.
Children's Privacy
SortyPorty does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. With no accounts and no data collection, the app is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.
Your Control
You are always in full control. There is no account to manage or delete because none was ever created. To remove all app data, simply uninstall SortyPorty from your device — your local inventory goes with it.
Changes to This Policy
If our practices ever change, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above. Since the app functions entirely offline, any future update will still honor the core promise: your data stays on your device.
